Little by little, we said good-bye to our life in South Jordan, Utah:
Good-bye, stuff! (Offloaded onto willing family or taken to DI. Some of it we shipped on palettes to Norway.)
Good-bye, furniture! (sold to Ben or on KSL)
Good-bye, house! (Sold to a nice family named the Hummels, but we had to leave behind our piano as part of the deal. Hope they enjoy it, and the house, as much as we did)!
Good-bye, school! (The boys left Jordan Ridge Elementary the end of January. Their classes gave them well-wishes and notes, and they had a little party at their friends' house)
Good-bye, friends and neighbors! (Our ward friends were so sweet and helpful, bringing dinner and watching Sam and Annie for me so I could pack up.)
Didn't get much sleep those last days of January, but somehow we made it through! Wouldn't have without the help of Mom and Dick, and dear relatives who were willing to clean, ferry, (pray) and pack with me. My thanks are inadequate...but, thanks. Love you.
